Ball screw slide unit S.USVV.130 suitable for "F.27 - F.31 - F.34"
series motorized spindle heads.
Linear bearings with 4 ball rows pads.
Feed is provided by a rolled, precision 16 mm dia. x 5 mm pitch
ball screw pre-loaded at "0" backlash, and guarded by an
aluminium sleeve on which the position sensors are fitted.
Feed motor mounting facility must be considered, suitable for
the brushless motor that you will specify (supplied on request).
Position sensor =
N°1 off for front end of the stroke
N°1 off for rear end of the stroke
N°1 off for "0" point
This solution enables to keep:
ball screw guarded from chip;
proximity switch fitted outside the cylinder case (side micro-
switches missing).
Slide units fitted with 6 ball rows pads, or roller pads for heavy
duty applications can be supplied on request.

The torque to be applied to the 16 x 5 screw (1:1 drive ratio) in order
to obtain a 5000 N axial thrust on the spindle head, is approx 4.5 Nm.
It is important to know the dimensional features and the drive ratio.
UP SIDE DOWN UTILIZATION
In case larger spindle head mounting surface is required it is advisable
to turn the slide unit up side down.
In this way, the ball screw, linear bearings and slide ways are sheltered.
