Scholarly Journal Articles
Select “Databases” on the University Libraries website for entries #1-3.
1) JSTOR.
Functions as an electronic archive of older journals. Contains complete backfiles of scholarly journals starting with first issues; many date back from the 1800s. Often does not contain the most recent years of a journal.
3 Project MUSE.
Full text database of journals in disciplines such as art, literature, history, political science, and economics. Covers articles published from 1993 to the present.
2) History Cooperative.
Small database of full-text, scholarly history journals published from 1999 to the present.
4) Historical Abstracts. 1955 to present.
Print index containing abstracts of articles from 17,000 journals covering all branches of history except the United States and Canada. Reference Collection D299 .H5
