Rikvin Processes Singapore Dependent Pass Applications

employees and depending on the country, the conditions to allow family to migrate vary.
In Singapore, foreign nationals who hold labor passes like an Entrepreneur, Employment, Personalized
Employment, and Specialist are eligible to apply for a Singapore Dependent pass for their respective
dependents such as wife and children.
“A Dependent pass, known as the family relocation pass is issued to every member of the principal labor pass

submitted to the Ministry of Manpower.”
The status of Dependant pass is dependent to the status of the principal labor pass holder.

enjoys the privileges inherent in such pass including the liberty to stay and live in the city-state and leave at
Singapore Specialist pass holders or S pass has a minimum wage requirement of S$1,800. However, to
qualify for a Dependant pass, his remuneration wages must reach S$2,500 each month.
Rikvin advises that before a Dependant pass is applied, the principal labor pass holder must have stayed and
worked in the city-state for at least one year. This will increase the chances of approval. However, this can also
vary depending on other conditions and the amount of salary earned by the premier labor pass holder. In which
case, the applications of the Dependant pass is submitted together with the application for premier labor pass.
The documents required are a copy of birth certificate of the applicant, a copy of marriage certificate of the
spouse, and two recent photographs.
The spouse holding a Dependant pass and whose partner holds PEP, EP, and EntrePass may also engage in
employment as long as the employer is willing to execute a Letter of Consent requiring approval from the
