1: Create and edit an object-based animation—Use the new intuitive object-based
animation model in Flash CS4 to quickly create an animation. Tweak the motion paths to
perfection with easy-to-edit Bezier curves.
2: Add a professional touch with the Motion Editor—Control the important
attributes of an animation, such as the timing and rotation elements, with greater granular-
ity using the new Motion Editor panel.
3: Quickly apply motion presets—Add pre-built animation presets to objects and
quickly take a motion concept to completion. Create custom presets for you and others to
use again.
4: Add sophistication with 3D transformations—Use the 3D Rotation tool and the
3D Translation tool to add sophistication to your Flash project.
5: Define distortion and interaction with the Bones tool—Use the Bones tool to link
different symbols together or apply constraints to distort individual ones, also known as
inverse kinematics.
6: Create cool pattern art with the Deco tool—Quickly turn any symbol into an instant
design tool using procedural modeling with the Deco tool. A variety of effects including Vine
Fill, Grid Fill, and the Symmetry Brush open a new world of creativity.
