1. ANNOUNCEMENT

The CMXC, LMSC, STMCA, CHMCC and ECMXC, hereafter called the Promoters will conduct the 2011 Tasmanian
Motocross Championships for Junior and Senior Motocross classes at their respective venues during 2011, dates as per
Entry Form.

2. JURISDICTION

2.1 The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Tasmania Inc which has issued the Motorcycling
Australia Permit Number TBA and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia Junior National and Senior National
Licences.

2.2 The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s) contained in the Manual of
Motorcycle Sport, these Supplementary Regulations, and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Tasmania Inc. By
entering this meeting all parties agree to comply with these rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions.

3. EVENT OFFICIALS

4. ENTRIES

4.1 Entries are now open. Late entries will not be accepted.

4.2 In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the Club
if such retention is approved by Motorcycling Tasmania.

4.3 Only entries received on the official entry form that is accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted.

4.4 Entry fees will only be refunded if a rider informs the Race Secretary, in writing, 10 days before the event. A medical
certificate is required if a rider withdraws less than 10 days before the event.

5. ENTRY FEE

5.1      Entries received by Closing Date: Senior: $95.00 Junior: $85.00

5.2 Payment by cheque, money order or direct deposit. Any fees for dishonoured cheques will be the responsibility of the
entrant.

5.3 Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to Motorcycling Tasmania.

5.4 Entry will not be deemed to have been accepted until money AND entry form are received.

6. INSURANCE

6.1 National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability.

It is strongly recommended that competitors give consideration to taking out weekly benefits insurance.

7. MEDICAL SERVICES

Medical Services will be provided by St Johns Ambulance, Ambulance Private and Event Medical Services Tasmania.

8. SCRUTINEERING

8.1 Scrutineering will be held on Saturday from 6.30am to 7.45am with Riders Briefing at 8.00am Attendance is
compulsory. Sign on will be held on Sunday from 7.30am to 8am - Compulsory

8.2 Machines entered in the competition must have successfully passed a machine examination prior to taking part in
practice, qualifying or racing. An MA decal will be placed on the front number plate to indicate that it has been successfully
examined.

8.3 Current competition licences and full riding gear must be presented at scrutineering. Eligibility checks can take place at
any time during the meeting. Machines which suffer accident damage in practice or race sessions must be re-examined
before participating again.

8.4 In addition to supervising the pulling down and checking of machines after official protests have been received by the
Clerk of Course in accordance with the GCRs, the Steward can order that any machine be measured and if this occurs the
Scrutineer will supervise a team member to pull down any machine that has taken part in the event. Failure to comply with
this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.

8.5 Machines will not be sealed for later checking after the event. All machines that are to be pulled down and scrutineered
will take place at the circuit before the machine is released by the Scrutineer. A member of the rider’s team must be available
at all times to carry out the strip down under the control of the Scrutineer. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in
this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.

10. ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS

10.1 To constitute a class for the purpose of gaining Championship status, the number of contestants entered and competing
in each class shall be three.

10.2 Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine
events and re-distribute any awards and/or prizemoney, will be at the discretion of the club approval byMotorcycling
Tasmania.

11. STARTS

As per GCR’s 17.8.1.7
a) All competitors must be called to the start line at least 2 minutes before each start
b) At the end of the 2 minutes, and when the starter is ready a 15 second sign will be held up for a full 15 seconds
c) At the end of 15 seconds, a 5 second sign will be displayed
d) The gate will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second sign is shown

One mechanic only at start line with rider and must vacate at green flag, 30 second penalty applies to those who do not
comply.

13. EVENT SCHEDULE

Late Arrivals may be considered at discretion of Clerk of the Course.

For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be 6.30am on Saturday
and 7.30am on Sunday with the completion of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the
venue.

14. AWARDS AND PRIZEMONEY

weekends event.

15. MACHINES AND RIDERS

15.1 All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Motocross competition.

15.2 Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of competition is not permitted.

15.3 Change of machines will only be permitted if the Clerk of the Course, Steward and Race Secretary are notified prior to
the event, numbers should be changed where possible.

16. RIDING NUMBERS

All riders must use the riding number allocated to them by Motorcycling Tasmania.

All number plates on all machines MUST comply with the GCRs and must not contain any decals or advertising other than
the required MA decal.

All riders must wear a corresponding number on their back & be presented at scrutineering.

17. GRID POSITIONS

Grid positions shall be determined by peg draw for first moto then by order of finish thereafter even if classes are combined.

18. RIDERS’ BRIEFING

A riders’ briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing, which ALL competitors MUST attend.

19. TRACK WALK

All participating competitors must be given the opportunity to walk the track prior to any on track participation.

Full canteen facilities and male and female toilets are available at all venues.
Re-fuelling areas at all venues.

21. NOISE

Noise testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer or the Clerk of Course. Refer to GCR 12.10
for details. Penalties will apply.

22. ANTI-DOPING POLICY

22.1 All competitors and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with MA’s Anti-Doping Policy, as
carried out by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority. Refer to GCR 11 for details.

22.2 If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, tel 1800
020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at Motorcycling Tasmania discretion
until the results of the tests are known.

23. ALCOHOL TESTING PROCEDURE

All competitors and officials are advised that random breath-testing may take place during the competition.

24. CODE OF CONDUCT

All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of MA’s Code of Conduct contained within MA’s Member Protection
Regulations, found at www.ma.org.au or Appendix 3 of the GCR, which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle
race meetings. This Code of Conduct applies to this Meeting and will be enforced.

25. ADMISSION CHARGES

Riders entry fee includes gate fee.
Adults: $5.00 for 1 day or $10.00 for 2 days.      Children under 16 yrs: FREE

26. LICENCE

Current MA National Competition Licence plus proof of current Club Membership e.g. Card, Receipt etc, must be shown at
scrutineering.

27. TRACK CLOSURE

All tracks will be closed 8 (eight) days prior to the meeting.

28. TRANSPONDERS

All riders must have a personal transponder in working condition. Any rider without a personal transponder in working
condition will not be permitted to start.
Transponders are available for hire $40. Transponders may only be hired 3 times and then purchased by rider.

29. FLAG MARSHALLS

All riders must supply a Flag Marshall. Positions will be given out at scrutineering. The meeting will be conducted over
five motos plus practice. In the case where Flag Marshals do not perform their duties as allocated under the conditions of
these Supplementary Regulations, the relevant Riders points are voided for the previous moto.

30. EXTRA MOTOS - Seniors

If a class exceeds one full grid, extra motos will be run over 15 minutes with all riders points being carried forward to be
counted towards the Championship.
