Sleeve selection guide for Jet-Tools
Carbide shank When using the carbide shank type, use of the special sleeve (BLC-type)
designed for Jet-Tools in recommended.
BLC (Specifically used for Jet-Tools)
When using a sleeve of Ø32 mm or Ø40 mm
in mounting diameter, it can be directly
mounted on the toll post. Since the leakage
of cutting fluid is completely eliminated, Jet-
tool’s performance can be maximized.
BLM
When using a drill sleeve for through-tool
coolant delivery which is attached to the
machine or sold by machine tool manufactur-
ers, the BLM type sleeve is used as an
intervention between the drill sleeve and the
Jet-Tool.
BLS-C
This type of sleeve is used when the Jet-tool
is used on a conventional lathe or used with
square-shank type tool post.
Steel shank When using the steel shank type, use a drill sleeve (holder) for through-
tool coolant delivery sold by machine tool manufacturers.
