  Quick Start Guide

This quick start guide is intended as a guide to getting your website up and running in just a few minutes
or just a few clicks.

It takes you through the registration process (including domain name registration), payment process and
the publishing, or going live, of your site with at least one page of content. The screen shots or screen
grabs used are only partial clips as opposed to full clips in the full user manual.

The quick start guide concentrates on simply adding text to and creating one page for your website. All
other features etc. are dealt with in detail in the full user manual.

Step 1
From the home page of MyWeddingSite™, click on the

I. “Sign up!” button in the bottom right hand corner of the top banner,

II. “Start Here” button of the main screen.

                                                                                                     2

Step 2
Next you will be taken to the registration page.
Fill in all details as required and click on the “Send My Details” button.

Step 3
Next you need to make a payment.

I. Those opting to use PayPal for immediate payment and set up, click the “Buy Now” button and follow
the on screen instructions within the PayPal website. Once completed, return to the MyWeddingSite™
website, register your desired domain name and login in using your username and password.

II. Those opting to pay by cheque, postal order etc., should send your payment as instructed and
wait to receive confirmation, by email, that your account has been activated. (Please remember to
quote your username, email address and a contact number on the back of your payment.) Once notified
you should return to the MyWeddingSite™ website, register your desired domain name and login in
using your username and password.

                                                                                                3

Once your account has been activated you are required to register your choice of domain name. This
is the address with which your website will be accessed, e.g. the website address for myweddingsite is
www.myweddingsite.ie.

To check the availability of your preferred domain name, enter the details in the relevant area on the left
panel of the “Registration Process – Final Step” page and click “search”. Do not enter the “www”
part of the domain name.

                                                                                                      4

Site Settings
When you login you will be taken to the “Site Settings” page within the design environment.

Enter your names in the “Bride and Groom” box, and the date of your wedding in the “Wedding
Date” box – you may of course leave these fields blank.

Select a site theme by clicking on the button below the theme you wish to implement. Remember that
your site theme can be changed later, and as often as you wish. You can preview each theme by clicking
on the “Preview” button below the relevant theme.

When you have finished click the “Save” icon in the top right hand corner of the page. Once you have
saved your selections click the “Close” icon, also positioned in the top right hand corner of the page
and you will be automatically taken to the “Page Manager” menu.

                                                                                                   5

Page Manager Menu
The “Page Manager” menu contains a list of preset pages. For this example we are going to use the
“Home” page to work on.
Click on the “Home” page name within the list.

You will now be in the “Page: [Edit]” facility.
You can change the “Page Name” and or “Page Title”, by entering alternative text in these fields.
Enter your content by simply typing in text as you would in a word document or copying and pasting by using
the “Paste as plain text” icon (the first icon highlighted or available from the left in the formatting toolbar.)
Once you have completed entering your text click the “Save” icon and you will once again be taken
back to the “Page Manager” menu. Complete this process for other pages if you wish.

                                                                                                            6

When you are finished it is advisable, although not necessary, to hide those pages you have yet to
complete.

To do this simply click on the “Show/Hide” icon relevant to that page. Pages that are visible have a
green + in this field, hidden pages have a red x in this field. In the example below we have hidden the
“Accommodation” page.

                                                                                                      8
