Fall Sports Available: Badminton, Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys & Girls
Golf, Football, Swimming, Freshman Tennis, and Spiritline.

3 semesters of marching band, percussion, winter/color guard or JROTC count
as 1 PE credit. Anything less is elective credit.

If you’ve taken the same foreign language in both 7th and 8th grade, then you
may sign up for the 2nd year of that language.

AP classes and Dual Credit courses are a way to earn college credit. Most of
them are offered your Junior and Senior year but taking honors now will help
  prepare you for them.

Register for your home school even if seeking a boundary exemption.

Make sure to choose your classes wisely! Class selection will be limited if you
want to change your schedule after registration. (During Bear Down Days.)
             TIPS TO SUCCESS
•Get involved! Consider clubs, sports, school government,
newspaper, etc.
•Keep track of involvement- certificates, awards, volunteer hours
•Get to know your teachers and counselor – communicate with them.
•Set academic goals
•Do your homework! Most problems occur when you get behind on
homework- don’t let this be you!
•Grades are very important – Freshman year DOES count! Check
STI frequently. Take advantage of tutoring.
•Go to Class! A student should attend 90% of class sessions to receive
credit.
