Medic PSA Tool Kit Medic PSA: The medic PSA was developed by Acadian Ambulance and can be found on the AAA’s website. To download the Medic PSA, follow these steps: 1. Go to www.the-aaa.org and on the left hand column, under Community Service, there is a link to the Medic PSA. 2. Chose either the Real Player or Windows Media Player format of the PSA, and right-click on that link 3. Highlight and select Save Target As, and save the file to your PC. Helpful Hints: Network Television Find contact information for your local network television station. This can be done on the Internet by going to their website and looking for contacts. (i/e www.whdh.com local channel 7 in MA, contact link on bottom of home page, provides email links) Send message to station manager inquiring about contact/procedure for airing a public service announcement. Provide brief description of PSA, audience, intent, and benefit; offer to forward a copy of the clip to be previewed. Local Cable Television Find contact information for your local cable television channels. This can be done on the Internet, on your local cable access channel or in your town/city phone book. Provide brief description of PSA, audience, intent, and benefit; offer to forward a copy of the clip to be previewed. Local Radio Stations Find contact information for your local radio stations. This can be done on the Internet.
