                            Dear Stakeholder,

Subject: Invitation to Provincial Policy Statement Five Year Review Regional Workshops

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, in conjunction with other land use planning
ministries, is undertaking a review of the Provincial Policy Statement, 2005 (PPS), as required
under the Planning Act. The main goal of the review is to assess the need for revisions to the
                            PPS.

The PPS is the integrated, consolidated statement of all ministries’ policies concerning land use
for Ontario and it provides policy direction on matters of provincial interest related to land use
planning and development. Municipal councils, planning boards and any other decision
makers including the Ontario Municipal Board, must ensure their decisions that affect planning
matters are consistent with the PPS.

The PPS provides direction on key issues such as: the efficient use and management of land
and resources; long-term protection of the natural environment and water resources; the
conservation of cultural heritage and archaeological resources; and the protection of public
                            health and safety.

As part of the review of the PPS, I would like to invite you to attend a workshop. We are
holding these workshops across the province to get input from municipalities, stakeholders and
the public for the PPS review. Please see the attached schedule for details on workshop
locations and dates as well as maps and directions for each workshop venue. An open-house
and registration will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and the workshop will begin at
                            6:00 p.m. and conclude at 9:30 p.m.

Please find attached a consultation pamphlet containing more detailed information and
questions to consider in preparation for the workshop. You can access an electronic copy of
                            the PPS at http://www.mah.gov.on.ca/Page1485.aspx.

Please confirm your attendance by one of the following methods:

SUMMARY
In virtually all jurisdictions, there is concern regarding the contaminants in biosolids and the potential
for adverse effects on biota, through foodchain transfer. Biosolids, in addition to containing many
nutrients that are required for plant growth, also contain many potentially detrimental components,
including drugs, synthetic hormones and various metals and metals. Elevated concentrations of metals
in agricultural soils as a result of biosolids amendment could have a negative impact on the agrifood Triple “S” Sanitation Limited has been a

It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet, but once water (at
sea) hit it, not only did it become heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning against a wall. The room was full of workers

Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lan-

Thus evolved the term ‘ S.H.I.T ‘ , (Stow High In Transit) which has come down through the
centuries and is in use to this very day. From across the room a voice said, “Pizza delivery guy from Domino’s”.

I had always thought it was a golf term.
