Extension Activity: Suki has been told that because she has been such a good customer her supplier is going to give her a discount of 12% on
all of the goods she buys next month. Suki wants you to work out what her profit would have been if she had received this dis count this month.

            TIPS:
Remember - you are now working out discount on COSTS - not Price, and you
need to use ABSOLUTE cell referencing.

Begin by working out the Discount per unit column. The discount for Elbow pads
is 12% x £8.00. How would you write this as a formula? Remember - you need to
ABSOLUTLEY always go back to cell C18 for your discount figure.

To work out Suki's new discounted costs, you need to subtract the Discount per unit
            from the Cost per unit.
