 Teachers and Technology Grant Awardees Announced

 Cheyenne –The Qwest Foundation and the Wyoming Department of Education today announced the five
 teachers who were the recipients of the Qwest Teachers and Technology grants. The grants are funded by the
 Qwest Foundation and administered by the Wyoming Department of Education. Each of the five teachers received
 a $5,000 grant to pursue their project related to the use of technology to enhance the classroom experience. The
 awardees participated in a statewide competition wherein each participant was required to submit a detailed
 description of their proposed project in a request for proposal document that was ultimately evaluated against all
 such submissions.

 of Education’s Federal Four-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate, or “on-time― graduation rate, is 80.4%
 for the class of 2010.

 NASA STEM Learning Grants

 Cheyenne – Competitive grant applications for the NASA STEM Learning Communities are now being accepted.
 Approximately $25,000 will be available to support STEM programming in after-school programs under the
 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) federal grant program.
