   SPECIFICATION SCHEET OF MESH
   WITH MODULAR ELEMENTS
   FOR INTERIORS


    Patented system, made up of modular heating elements of only 4 mm thickness. The laying of the Genius Carbon modular
    panels can be done by everyone, even a not expert person. It is possible to organise the correct position and dimension of the
    necessary modules just using the descriptive instructions prensent inside the packaging or using the free program on www.
    geniuscarbon.com.

    The radiating heating.
    The heat radiation is a system of heat exchange that uses the infrared waves as shuttler vectors. In fact, two bodies or two objects having
    different temperatures naturally irradiate heat one to the other and this thermal flow goes from the warmer element to the colder one. The
    heat radiation sent out from the under-floor heating turns into heat when it comes in contact with an object, a cold wall or a person. Hence,
    the waves are not absorbed from air, but from solid bodies that turn them into thermal energy. This energy is transmitted to the room creating
    the optimum conditions for the occupants‘ comfort.

   HEALTH BENEFITS

   The radiant-floor system is healthy; it does not create airblasts and it eliminates the thermal stress in the various areas of the ambient and
   it heats uniformly the whole air space. It assures the maximum comfort and it respects the Regulations that limit the superficial floor tem-
   perature at 28°C.
   In the THERMAL TECHNOLOGY system, as underlined in the Tests and Report of the IUAV University of Venice: “The average radiating tem-
   perature of 21°C allows to maintain the air temperature lower than the standard 20°C, which are typical of the traditional heating systems.
   This permits to limit the difference of the internal-external temperature and the energy dispersions. The analyzed radiant heating system gua-
   rantees a difference of air temperature between floor and ceiling of about 1,5°C, which is extremely low and avoids the possible discomfort
   noticed for the excessive values of the temperature lapse rate between the head and the ankles of the occupants”.



   APPLICATIONS

   The GENIUS CARBON system is ideal for any kind of building, single houses, apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, warehouses. It is pos-
   sible to install this system in new constructions and also in the case of renovations. The solution of the low temperature GENIUS CARBON
   system meets everyone’s requirements. The heating panels are incorporated in the floor and they clear the walls from the bulky radiators
   gaining some free space and leaving more freedom to place the forniture.
   Comfortable
   Heat is uniformly spread from the floor to the ceiling, with a constant and homogeneous temperature in all the rooms. The tem-
   perature is adjustable in each room.
   Silent
   The heating system is directly connected to the switchbaord and so it works without a boiler or another mechanical element that
   could disturb the peace of the ambient.
   Flexible
   Every room can easily feature an independent thermostat (no pipes, pumps and valves) to adjust the temperature according to
   the time spent in each room.
   Healthy
   Thanks to the heat radiation the bodies are directly heated and the air masses are not moved, avoiding the circulation of dust
   and mites. The radiant heating system guarantees a difference of air temperature between floor and ceiling of about 1,5°C that
   avoids a possible discomfort.
   Safe
   Being a system integrated to the floor, there is no possibility of a direct contact with the energized elements.
   The panel is made up of fire-proof materials. The carbon fibre does not generate electromagnetic emissions(about 47
   times ower than law limits)
Economical
The GENIUS CARBON radiant-floor heating system, thanks to an excellent distribution of heat, permits to low the ambient tempe-
rature of 1 or 2°C compared to the other heating systems.
It also permits to have 19°C at 1,60 mt from the floor, which will be a temperature of 21°C compared to 23-24°C of the other
electrical systems. (To 1°C less corresponds a decrease in spending of 7%).
No maintenance
The system needs no maintenance, except the replacement of the system parts.
Warranty
As confirmation of the high technical-mechanical characteristics, the producer offers a warranty of 10 years from the date of
buying.
  In addition:
- it is reliable over time;
- easy and quick to install;
- reusable (if under floating floor);
- self-estinguishing and humidity-resistant, the electrical connections are certified IP 67.
CHARACTERISTICS

The elements are made up of alkali-resistant glass fibre, which is a support for the thermal conductors made up of carbon fibre cables, that
are provided with a thermal insulating band to decrease the downwards thermal dispersions.
The carbon resistors are inside the panel and they are fixed in a parallel way to a side stile. This allows to keep working the system even in
case of damage (pricking of the panel with the cut of the carbon fibre cable). In this case only a surface of about a square metre will stop
heating.

The heat propagation is uniform and it goes upwards thanks to the panel composition itself. The heat loss that goes downwards is about
25%.

The panels thickness is uniform and of only 4 mm. This permits an use even in particular situations, like restorations, making of livable attics,
etc...



INSTALLED POWER AND CONSUMPTIONS

The optimal comfort is given by the “spread heat”; that means cover the majority of the floor surface with the heating panels to guarantee
the heat transmission uniformity. Maybe avoid the installation near fixed pieces of forniture like kitchen forniture and closets.
The installed power of the radiant system is equal to 100Watt/mq. It can be adjusted following the need of the ambient to heat. Consequently
the heating system will work with more or less long intervals.




TEMPERATURE CONTROL

No need to double check the temperature (with a probe in the floor and with a thermostat in the ambient).
It need only to be checked in the ambient by thermostat or programmable thermostat.




FURTHER ANDVANTAGES OF THE GENIUS CARBON SYSTEM

- less energy requirement thanks to the specific characteristics of the carbon fibre: equal to 30% - 40%;
- less necessary temperature of the floor: to1°C less corresponds a decrease in spending of 7%;
- minimum downwards heat despersion: about 25%.
EASE OF INSTALLATION

The laying of the GENIUS CARBON modular heating panels can be done by anyone, even if nonprofessional. It Is possible to organise the
correct position and dimension of the necessary modules just using the descriptive instructions present inside the packaging or using the
free program on www.geniuscarbon.com. The placing of the panels and their connection is easy and it can be done by everyone.
The electrical installation must be done by skilled personnel.



SYSTEM COMPOSITION

The GENIUS CARBON modular system is made up of:
- 12 heating elements of several dimensions;
- 2 extension cables of different measures to link the various elements;
- 1 extension cable for the connection to the electrical system;
- digital programmable themostat.

This product complys with the electrical safety measures following the low voltage directive 73/23/CE and the regulation CEI EN 60335-1:
1998 (CEI 61-150) and CEI EN 60204-1: 1998
Istituto Giordano the product complys with the regulations CEI EN 50366: 2004 concerning the electromagnetic emissions.

APPLICATIONS
General Rules
- verify that the elements used for the floor coating are compatible with the under-floor heating;
- lay the wood or laminated flooring following the producer’s instructions;
- let dry footers and glues following the producer’s instructions;
- leave the electrical connections to a skilled personnel.

Way of applications
- lay the mesh with the inscription “LATO RISCALDANTE” upwards;
- level the mesh to cover it with the elastic glue using untoothed spatulas and tools. Let dry the glue following the
producer’s instructions;
- start the laying of the floor using the same glue and the same tools.

The installation between the footer and the floor permits to heat the ambient in an extremely rapid way and thanks to
the system reduced mass, the time of the thermal inertia are reduced.
