					           NORTH WALES DEAF ASSOCIATION
Fingerspelling is one element of British Sign Language (BSL). BSL also uses hand
shapes, facial expressions and body language to convey a message. BSL is a
language in its own right with its own grammar and structure.




North Wales Deaf Association is a registered charity. Our aim is to improve the
quality of life for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people by the promotion,
development and provision of appropriate facilities, services and resources.
