Ferris recounts a couple of instances where he became a victim of the Huffington Post's censorship. He discloses that Huffington censors and killed his response on Mika Brzezinski's book All Things at Once, and the same thing happened with his comment on Sean Penn's article entitled "Mountain of Snakes," a paean to his dictator buddies Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Ferris describes Huffington as a prime offender when it comes to his disgust for censors and propaganda-mongers. He points out that while he can handle honest rejection, he suspects that some of this rejection is neither simple nor honest.
