CURRENT POSITION: Senior Resident Neurosurgery, King Fahed Hospital Al-
Maddinah, MOH, KSA (since 2007).

This is 700-bed hospital . Teaching Hospital. Serving Al-Maddinah region and cities around it, The
neurosurgery department is 45-bed capacity. The hospital is excellent equipped and recognized by the
Saudi Council of Health Specialties for most training years for Saudi Board qualification in
neurosurgery and training medical students before graduate and postgraduate terms.




PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES:

 1998 to 1999 Resident General Surgery, Military Hospital, Minististry of Defense,
  Syria.

This is a 600-bed hospital. Including the main rehabilitation center for Syrian armed forces. The general
surgery department is interested in pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery and Endoscopic
surgery.


 1999 to 2000 Resident Neurosurgery, National Hospital, Ministry of Health, Syria.

This is a 640-bed hospital. The main hospital in coastal area in Syria.
The neurosurgery department is 35-bed capacity. The hospital s well equipped and is recognized by
training medical student in Teshreen university for medical experiences.


 2000 to 2002 Senior Resident Neurosurgery ,Mouassat Hospital, Damascus University,
  Ministry of High Education, Syria

    The 990-bed hospital serving Damascus region. Teaching Hospital. The neurosurgery
    department is 60-bed capacity. The resident’s neurosurgery covers any neurosurgical case in
    Pediatric Neurosurgical department in General Pediatric Hospital in Syria.
    The hospital is excellent equipped and recognized by the Arab Council of Health Specialties
    for all training years for Arab Board qualification in neurosurgery and training medical
    students before graduate and postgraduate term.

 2002 to 2003 Senior Resident of Neurosurgery, King Fahd Hospital Hofuf, MOH, KSA.

This is 550-bed referral hospital, serving Al Hasa region. The neurosurgery department is 55-bed
capacity. The hospital is well equipped and is recognized by the Saudi council of health specialties for
training or R-4, R-5 and R-6 trainers for Saudi board qualification in neurosurgery.

 2003 to 2007 Senior Resident Neurosurgery, Royal Commission Hospital, Yanbu-AL
  Sinaiyah, KSA.

This is a 360-bed referral hospital. Serving Madinat Yanbu AL-Sinaiyah and cities around region. The
surgery department is 70-bed capacity. The hospital is well equipped and recognized to training the
medical student before or postgraduate.


 2007 until now Senior Resident Neurosurgery, King Fahed Hospital Al-Maddinah AL-
  Mnouarah, MOH, KSA .




EXPERIENCES:
   Weekly scientific activities in the Mouassat hospital, Syria including ground rounds, grand surgical
    meeting, journal clubs and clinical audits.
   Monthly neurosurgical club in National hospital, Syria since 1998.

COURSE ATTENDED:

   Symposiums of neurosurgery in Damascus hospital in education center every year since 1998.
   Advance course, Mouassat hospital, Syria for two weeks in Damascus university center in 2002.
   Advance Endoscopic Neurosurgery course, two weeks in Damascus university Center in Mouassat
    Hospital, Syria in 2001.
    Yearly Congress of the Syrian Society of Neurosciences in June 1998 – 1999 – 2000 – 2001 – 2002
     this society established 1994.
    Symposiums of neurosurgery and other medical studies in king Fahd hospital Hofuf in education
     center every week twice since 2002 to 2003.
    Symposiums and lectures in updates of medical sciences and specialties and meeting surgery
     department and radiological meeting in RCMC are done twice a week since 2003 until 2007.
    Symposiums and lectures in updates of medical sciences and specialties and radiological meeting in
     KFHM are done once a week since 2007.
