The problem has always been limited choice of vehicles and fixed turn parameters that don’t always match your requirements. Now, with AutoTrack Templates, you can print templates for any of over five hundred vehicles with user-definable turn dimensions.

Works in AutoCAD and MicroStation The product is fully compatible with both AutoCAD and MicroStation and adds a drop down menu and toolbar. When the professional version is used in this way the templates may be inserted directly into drawings. Standard & Professional versions AutoTrack Templates comes in two versions, the budget Standard version and the more powerful Professional version. The Standard version allows you to print templates for any vehicle and to specify turn dimensions. The Professional version comes with its own CAD system, SavoyCAD, and in addition to printing, allows you to insert templates directly into drawings or create DXF files. Template Wizard The template wizard allows creation of templates in five easy steps so there’s no learning curve.

Select a template type: printed, inserted or DXF file (Note: Standard version only allows printed templates). Select a vehicle: as well as many real vehicles we also include design vehicles for the UK (FTA), US (AASHTO & CALTRANS), Canada (TAC), Australia (AUSTROADS) and New Zealand (TNZ). Set the model type: specify the type of transition curve or omit it completely. Set the turn parameters: turn angle and turn as tight as possible or to set inner or outer wheel or body turn radius. Optional include side and/or exit overturns with user definable offsets. Set formatting options: included chassis and/or body and/or clearance envelope, with or without title block.

Tried and tested algorithms The system uses the same algorithms as the full version of AutoTrack, algorithms that have been proven in daily use by thousands of users the world over. Installation Installing the software could not be easier. Once installed there are no complicated loading procedures to remember, you just click on the desktop icon. System administrators will be pleased to hear that silent network installation is supported. Updates Savoy Computing is continually enhancing and developing AutoTrack based upon feedback from our users. All problems that are reported are listed on our website together with solutions or workarounds. Updates are issued via the web or on CD. Single user and network licences available The single user licence allows AutoTrack to be installed on as many computers as you wish and move the hardware lock freely between computers – there's no need to enter codes each time. The network licence gives you additional freedom - plug the lock into the server and use the software on any computer on the LAN. Support An annual support charge entitles you to technical support and all updates (even major version changes) released in that period. Support is provided via telephone, fax and email between the hours of 0900 and 1800 GMT. N.B.
