Lake Forest, IL – (Mar 1, 2010) – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced ecycler as
one of 25 Free Enterprise Honorees, recognizing its critical role in job creation and economic
growth.

The Awards Program is designed to commend businesses across the nation for their strong
business practices and contributions to the economy.

As quoted from the award letter from the US Chamber of Commerce, "We are proud to
recognize your business’ success story and are impressed with your company’s
accomplishments."

Craig Robertson, co-founder of ecycler was heard saying, “This is a true honor!”

Ecycler was founded on the basis of three goals: 1) improving the environment, 2) enhancing
the social value of recycling and 3) supporting local communities. As such, the ecycler website
(http://ecycler.com/) matches people, groups or businesses giving away recyclable materials
with local entrepreneurs interested in picking-up those items. In a recent transaction, for
example, ten bags of aluminum cans—totaling about 2000 cans—was posted on ecycler’s
Recycling Exchange. It did not take long for these cans to be claimed by a collector local to that
community.

Award criteria were based on staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer
service and business strategies & goals.

About ecycler, Inc.
Ecycler.com creates a new way to recycle by connecting people discarding cans, bottles, newspapers
and other recyclables with those wishing to collect them.

Ecycler provides an alternative to the many U.S. households, institutions and businesses that are not
offered curb-side recycling. It’s also an option for people who do have curb-side recycling but who want
to have their recyclables picked up when and where they desire.
