For Pet Owners:
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates?
Our rates vary by number of pets and type. Generally it is per visit: $12 for one pet
i.e. dog, cat. The $12 includes 1 to 3 rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, or birds etc.
Then add $3 each visit for each additional pet. Other fees for other types of animals
will be discussed and agreed upon during intial consultation
How often do you visit?
We visit as many times per day as the client wishes. Pets requiring two visits per day
are normally about 12 hours apart. Pets requiring one daily visit per day due to long
work hours of the client are mid-day or about half way through the client's work
day. These visits can be tailored to the client’s wishes, depending on the route for
the day. Two visits are recommended for clients out of town. Including clients with
multiple cats due to boxes filling faster, and dogs staying indoors or those needing to
go indoors at night. Some clients prefer three visits per day for indoor puppies.
Then visits are about 8 hours apart.
*If bad weather arises and I have left your pet(s) outdoors and they have no shelter,
I will make the extra trip immediately to let them indoors at not charge to you. Call
it an act of God : )
My service areas include Bosque Farms, Peralta, Los Lunas and Isleta Pueblo and I
live in Bosque Farms which makes it convenient to reach pet(s) right away.
What areas do you service?
We service Los Lunas, Peralta, Bosque Farms and Isleta Pueblo.

Yes!!! Some clients only want their dogs to run in the backyard during the day if
they have a large fenced yard but most dogs get about a 25 minute walk, weather

same species of animal as you do.

How do I know if your business is legitimate, trustworthy?
On the initial visit you may view my business license if you request, and do any or
all background checks on me you wish. I have no criminal background whatsoever.
I will show you my credentials to ease your mind also. I have references you will
have time to contact. These references include veterinarians, clients, and neighbors
and my mom and family if you’d like! : ) Meanwhile you will be signing a contract
with Love Your Pet Sitting that you will have a copy of. This contract specifically
reads that I, Kim Stuckel, am and will be responsible for your beloved pet(s) and
My residence is in Bosque Farms which is local. You will be given my license plate
number and description of my vehicle that I will be using while caring for your
pet(s) and home.
What is the big deal in pet sitting with 'unmarked' cars?
We do this as a precaution. Most people do not like to advertise to your
neighborhood that you are not going to be home. Our unmarked vehicles will not
advertise “Pet Sitter” alerting others that you are out of town. The point is to make
your home looked lived in as we also carry out turning our lights on and off,
adjusting your draperies, bringing in your mail and making security checks around
your home during our visits.
However, if you have neighbors that you know and trust and normally keep an eye
on your house anyway, you may want to tell them a pet sitter is visiting and describe
what I look like and what I will be driving.
I will be using my one and only vehicle which I will be driving upon our initial
consultation. This way, your neighbors and friends will not be confused by different
vehicles in your yard.
How do I know you will care for my pet(s) the way that I do?
The initial consultation will allow you and I too meet and you can ask me any and
all questions you may have. I can then get associated with your pet(s). At the same
time, you will be filling out your pet profile form about your pet(s) history, medical
health, needs and expectations that you require for your pet(s).
We will then go over the pet profile form together so I can get an exact description
of the care of your pet(s) while your away. My experience and knowledge and
diligence in this area of pet care will allow me to carry out your instructions and
your pet(s) care exactly as you require.
My main reason for offering pet sitting to pets at home is the compassion and
experience I have to keep them from experiencing stress and any discomfort while
your away. This is accomplished by my services offering your pet(s) the same
routine and care as if you were there and keep your home safe. That’s the key to our
