					              “Brisk Walking around Thornbury”

Have you been able to keep up your good intentions of taking more
exercise or joining the gym? If not, have you thought about brisk
walking? Brisk Walking is an excellent way of becoming &
remaining fit. It is healthy exercise in the fresh air with no previous
skills required. We are a small, friendly group who have been
walking on a regular basis & would like to share this experience
with others.

      When do we walk?
         Monday Evenings at 6.30pm
         Thursday Mornings at 9.30am

      Where do we walk?
         On Monday evenings we follow a route of 5 miles on
         the pavements around Thornbury.
         On Thursday mornings we walk along the pleasant
         lanes on the outskirts of Thornbury.

There is no charge & all that is required is a good pair of trainers.
We are usually out walking for 1-1¼ hours & a map of the
Monday route will be available to everyone on their first visit. I
will always walk with new people until you are familiar with the
route. Do come & join us. We would be pleased to see you.
