                   Lunch Healthy.

                   Afternoon Break Great Cookies.
                                                          Too much hummus.
Cost Very good value for price

Overall Value of Meeting Excellent networking.
This is my first UC meeting - Great experience - I'll be back.
As a first time attendee and newcomer, I found in very good/useful experience -
                                                          looking forward to more.
My first meeting - very good infromation is shared among members.
                                                          Taking home several "learnings".
I always enjoy the meeting and find it helpful to look at my own job strategically.
Utilities Council of IFMA - Spring Meeting 2008 - Boise

1. Would you attend a Council Meeting again?
     100 % - YES
2. Recommendations for Improvements:
 Need Little Larger Room - we are getting larger! That is a good problem.
 Boise was a great selection and venue!
 Maybe a larger venue.
 Boise was a great host - congrats to Scott and his team - wonderful city. I would vote for Detroit for a spring
     meeting location.
 Exc. Location, great hotel. Terrific organization. Amazing food. Programs very worthwhile. Barb and Scott
     and Terry, Thank you!
 Speakers need to be more attentive to time constraints and better managed. Maybe an official time cop.
 Town Hall discussions very helpful - might work to move them up in the schedule before people start
     leaving on the last day.
 Meeting was great - format works well. Town Hall meeting, Org Charts and Space for Generations
     excellent.
If possible, have catering company on-site. We seemed to run out of cups, ice, napkins and trash
     overflowing, without attention.
Great meeting, great networking. Scott was the perfect host.
A PA system would be helpful. Some speakers were soft spoke.

3. Recommendations for Presentations:
 Keep up the Facilities Stories and perhaps add "Horror" to the title
 I liked Facility Stories concept - these presentations should be limited to 20 min. tops, with focus on lessons
     learned.
 Need to limit the time each presenter takes on "Facility Stories": First one moved fast - hit the high points -
answered questions. Interesting presentation and got a little long. Other two had too much detail - took too
long. This caused people to leave, which drastically cut down the input in the round table discussion.

 Workplace violence program / plan.
 Internal sustainability / green programs (cleaning, grounds, energy, recycling, construction, etc.)
 Work process - reconfigurable cycle time.
 More on condition assessment. After you do them -what kind of program set-up. Does it work?
 Maintenance = Pam's should be 60%-80% = are there utilities performing that? What and how are they doing?
 Share new space trends in utility buildings (members).
 Trades - PDA's
 A day on sustainability in Omaha
 Actions taken to get budgets back in line? Services impacted? Communications to BU
 Sustainability
 Need more sharing of stories.
 The aging workforce.
 Contracting practice - national vs. relocation and local. Benefits and drawbacks.
 Attracting talent in our company is around EE's and line/wire management. I am curious as to whether
advanced workspace design is something that will help hire and retain these work groups.
