4. LUNCH ROOM SUPERVISION is needed from 12:15 P.M. to 1:20 P.M. daily.
   Please consider signing up by calling or stopping in the office. WE NEED

5. CHRISTMAS VACATIONS begins this Tuesday, Dec. 21st. WE WILL
   DISMISS AT NOON (NO BUS SERVICE HOME)! School will resume on
   Monday, Jan. 3rd.

6. MARKET DAY ORDER FORMS should be returned to school by Friday,
   01/14. Orders should be picked up on Tuesday, January 25th, from 3:30 PM
   – 4:30 PM. Those signed up to help at Market Day 2:15 – 4:15 pm are: Rita
   M., Lisa M, Becky L., Connie O. Any questions call Erin Parsons 884-8683.
   JANUARY IS OUR CHANCE TO EARN A $250 BORDERS GIFT CARD for
   our library. We need all families to get involved to reach our goal. We
   currently sell $1500 in Market Day products each month to approximately 25
   families. To earn the gift card we need to increase our January’s sale to
   $3000 of Market Day products. This will be easy to achieve if each RCS
   family peruses the Market Day flyer and finds just 1-2 items to purchase. You
   probably already eat many of the foods that are listed in the flyer – why not
   order them from Market Day this month? This month only, we can earn a
   $250 Borders Gift Card in addition to the usual 10% of the sale. So, if we
   meet our goal of a $3000 sale, RCS will earn $300 profit plus the $250 gift
   card! Please consider placing an order in January. Thanks!
   INCENTIVE FOR ONLINE CUSTOMERS: Place a $60 order online and
   receive a $25 Restaurant.com gift certificate or place a $100 order and
   receive at $50 gift certificate (ORDERS NEED TO BE PLACED BY
   DECEMBER 25TH). Just enter NITEOUT as the promotional code to get your
   reward! These orders will be for the January sale and will help us toward or
   $3000 sales goal while rewarding YOU in the process!

7. APPLICATIONS FOR KINDERGARTEN for both the 2011 & 2012 school
   years are now being accepted. Applications are available in the school
   office.

8. FIVE WEEK REPORTS – Five Week Reports will be sent home this week to
   parents of students in grades 5 – 8 who are doing below average work in their
   studies. Look for these reports in the mail.

9. FUNDING FACTORY RECYCLING PROGRAM – RCS is participating in this
   recycling program. We are collecting any empty printer or toner cartridges as
   well as used cell phones at RCS or Racine Christian Reformed Church. The
   program will run year-round and will help the school to earn money for the
   computer and technology department while also allowing us to recycle.

10. WET WIPES & DIAPERS - During the Advent season Racine Christian
    School will be sponsoring a wet wipe & diaper drive for Care Net Family
    Resource Ctr. They will be collected by classrooms until December 21st.
    The winning classroom will receive an ice cream sundae party. Care Net has
    a great need for these products, so please consider blessing Care Net with a
    generous gift. Thanks so much for your support!

11. GEMS CHRISTMAS PARTY will be this Tuesday, Dec. 21st, from 6:30-8:30
    pm at the Racine Christian Reformed Church. Gems, remember to wear
    something festive and your gift exchange.

12. YANKEE CANDLE COUPON – Attached to the Paw Prints you will find a $10
    off coupon for Yankee Candles that can be used between now and
    Christmas Eve at any Yankee Candle location or on line at
    www.yankeecandle.com . Please accept this as a token of Yankee Candle’s
    apology for the delayed shipments.

13. ONE ENTERTAINMENT BOOK is available in the office at a cost of $35. It
    is important that RCS sell the book we still have. It would make a
    wonderful Christmas Gift!
