Therapy Associates
Attention: Dina Mentch:

Dear Ms. Mentch :

I am writing to inquire about joining your team of Early Intervention providers as a physical
therapist. I have 1 ½ years of experience in EI home care in New York (Queens and
Rockland) with the majority of workdays consisting of 7-9 sessions. I have a well
developed style of family interaction and carryover as a core aspect of treatment sessions.
Prior to that, I held a full time position as a pediatric physical therapist on inpatient
rehabilitation service at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. At St. Mary’s I worked with
children of widely varying abilities and limitations, from infants with multiple congenital
physical and neurological impairments to teenagers with acquired brain injuries. My
responsibilities included evaluations, treatment, and equipment prescription and
management. This exposure has helped me develop a strong clinical knowledge base,
and develop the qualities of perseverance and flexibility as I constantly adapted my
treatment to the varying needs of each child.

My experience thus far has been extremely rewarding. At this time, however, I am
interested in working closer to my new home. I am eager to work with children with a
diversity of motor impairments in their natural environment.

Enclosed is a copy of my resume for your review. I look forward to meeting with you and
exploring the possibility of my becoming a member of your team.
