meeting to solicit input and comments for the Central Berkshire County Resource
Management Plan at 6:30 p.m. on February 24th, 2005 at the Berkshires Regional

     further review and comments.

The Central Berkshire County Resource Management Plan (Forest Plan) is being developed to guide
forest and vegetation management decisions on DRC owned forest and park lands. The plan will
delineate management zones, and describe the present conditions, public issues, desired conditions,

discusses how the State Forest lands will be managed in a manner that meets DCR’s legislative
mission and the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council’s Green Certification. Meeting
these requirement, will aid in managing our state forests in a sustainable mananer.
