FACT OR FICTION
There‟s no such thing as an easy ECE class.

No one ever graduates.

Professors aren‟t really people.

You can do it on your own.
             I’m a little scared.

“So, what classes are you taking this semester?”

                                     “Calc 2, English, EAS, DSP…”

“OMG!!!!! DSP is SO HARD and SO MUCH
WORK!!!!”
      I’m a little scared.
There‟s no such thing as an easy ECE class.
             I’m a little scared.

“You‟re a junior and you‟re switching your major? Why?”

“I just can‟t do ECE. It sucks.”
      I’m a little scared.

                                                 “What‟s that robot doing
                                                       here lecturing us?”
                          “That‟s not a robot.
                          That‟s Dr._____.”
“Op amps....ERROR 404.”

“I think he needs to reboot.”
      I’m a little scared.

Bill spent 20 hours trying to understand voltage dividers.
As a last resort, he tried to please the circuit gods with a
ritual sacrifice.

                          Welcome home!
A list of computer labs for your convenience!
 Van Leer
      C257 – computers‟ login is really slow
 4th floor writing lab – nice but few computers
      3042 lab – supposed to be for 3042 but…
 Klaus
 1440 – Perfect lab to get quick print outs and do homework.
 1446 – new computers! Some ancient computers (but still usable)
      1448 – Unix and Solaris machines
 2440 – Just like 1440 but used for DSP labs. Is open whenever labs are not in progress
You can print in all of these labs. Klaus 1446 and 1448 have color printers (accessible only if
          you are taking certain classes).

Hint: To get into the Klaus labs after hours, swipe your buzz card, and push in THEN pull.

To save paper you can print front and back by choosing „duplex‟! Also print more than
one slide or page per sheet if your printing class notes.
