This application will serve as a single point of contact for users who need to manage Sunshine Connections accounts. The proposed design will have the same “look and feel” of the current Sunshine Connections portal. The following major functional areas will be available: -Search Accounts: Users with the right permission level will have the ability to browse all or a subset of the accounts within the system. -Edit Accounts: Some users will have the ability to edit some aspects of existing accounts. -Add New Accounts: Some users will have the ability to add new accounts to the system. -Enable/Disable Accounts: Some users will have the ability to enable or disable accounts, effectively allowing or disallowing that account access to the Sunshine Connections portal. -Reset Account Password: Some users will have the ability to reset an account password in the event that users forget and are unable to reset it themselves. PAGE 1 FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION User Services The User Services section describes the interfaces, processes, and general functionality that will be exposed to the user in this application. This generally consists of breaking down the proposed system into user interface elements or “screens” that will serve as the points of contact with the end users. This section contains visual representations of these interfaces in addition to descriptions of the functions they perform and the data that they display or collect. 1 – Main Menu and Navigation The main menu and navigation components of the user interface will present and available to users at all times in the form of a menu bar at the top of the main user interface, just below the main header of the Sunshine Connections portal template (Sunshine Connections portal elements not displayed in screenshot). 1.1 – Status Bar The status bar will appear at the top of every page within the application and provide the user with a means to return to the „Tools‟ page within the main SC portal or to log out of Sunshine Connections. Field Name ‘Return to Sunshine Connections’ ‘Logged in as’ ‘Sign Out’ Required N/A Description This link will bring users back to the ‘Tools’ page on the main Sunshine Connections portal site. This will display the user name of the currently logged in user. This link will sign users out of the system. Screenshot: Example of success status message: Example of error status message: 1.4 – Type-Ahead List Selection All drop down lists within the system will support a „type-ahead‟ feature that will allow users who know the record they want to simply type in the information to select that record rather than scroll through a large list to find it. For example, job codes could be selected by setting focus to the „Job Code‟ drop down, and then beginning to type in the code that you want to select. Screenshot: PAGE 4 FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION 1.5 – Unsaved Changes confirmation All screens that capture and save data will pop up a confirmation dialog whenever changes are made to the data and the user attempts to navigate away from the screen before saving the changes. When this dialog is presented, clicking the „OK‟ button will continue to leave the page and lose any unsaved changes while the „Cancel‟ button will allow the user to remain on the page and continue making changes or perform a save. Screenshot: PAGE 5 FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION 2 – Search Accounts The „Search Accounts‟ functional area will provide the user with a means to view accounts within the system at a high level. All account data will be presented in a tabular format with most individual account details hidden from view.
