Minutes of the 36th Registration Committee Meeting held at CPCB on March 12-13
0.0 List of the participants is given at Annexure- A
1.0 Sh. R.K. Garg, Chairman of the Expert Group welcomed the participants.
2.0 On the first day i.e. on 12th March, presentations were made by applicants who
have applied for registration for recycling of ink and paint sludge and e-waste.
The presentations were followed by discussions.
3.0 On 13th March, applications for registration were considered and
recommendations made as per attached annexure- D.
4.0 In the end the Committee took the following decisions:
i. The next Registration Committee meeting may be held on 14th May,
2009.
ii. The waste oil recycling units located far away from ports may be visited
by central team after six months of grant of registration.
iii. Information may be collected from various ports in the country regarding
the quantity of the Waste Oil auctioned by the ports to the registered
recyclers during last two years.
iv. In the next R.C. meeting the plan of visit to various recycling/re-refining
units by Committee members in various parts of the country may be
finalized.
v. Information may be collected from recyclers in respect of waste actually
processed by them during 2008-09.
vi. Chairman may visit the e-Waste recycling plant located at Roorkee
alongwith some members of R.C. and CPCB officials on March 22, 2009
(Sunday).
