Personal Statement

      As a highly motivated and results oriented manager within a range of
      sectors, from public to production, I have a proven track record of
      providing exemplary levels of service to a broad range of customers
      and clients, as well as consistently maintaining successful
      relationships with both internal and external staff. Following my
      several years with ECC Thailand (Ngamwongwan branch), where I
      was effectively in charge of all organisational responsibilities as well
      as overseeing three provincial satellite branches, I am now looking to
      secure a position where I may put my current skill set to optimum use
      in an environment that encourages further development.

Significant Achievements

      Successfully managing the development of four separate branches in
      the Nonthaburi province for ECC Thailand Ltd., turning the province
      into the organisation's second most profitable.
      Arranging a sponsored charity event in 1999, to raise money for
      cancer research through a climb of Mt. Elgon in Uganda.
      Overseeing the creation and handover of a three ton bronze public
      sculpture, “The Great Escape”, for Liverpool city council.

Career History

     Nov 2nd 2009 to present – Customer Service Manager, Jobcentre
     Plus, Crossfield House, Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK. Overseeing
     front-line operations in the Crossfield House job centre ensuring the
     customer's experience, whilst representing in the office, is as
     productive and well facilitated as possible. Imparting advice on
     jobseeking; dealing with customer complaints, personally resolving
     issues where possible; maintaining health and safety requirements on
     the Crossfield site in all public facing areas. As customer service
     representative leader for the Calderdale district, feeding down proper
     customer service application method to team representatives.
     Also involved in strategic planning to increase efficiency of handling of
     footfall and reduction of wasteful practice, including building an
     awareness of the Lean process.

     Aug 2003 to May 2009 – Head Manager, ECC Ngamwongwan,
     Nonthaburi, Thailand. Head of a main provincial business, selling
     educational provision for the ECC chain, a global management role
     with a specific focus upon office management including: overseeing
     office system efficacy; stock and materials control; quality control of
     documentation; staff development and staff supervision. Responsible
     for the flagship Ngamwongwan branch and 3 satellite branches also,
     a total of 100 members of staff and 3500 students per week.
     Further duties included some promotional and PR work; client liaison;
     organising staff meetings; reporting to Director's meetings; negotiating
     the implementation of new products with providers.

     Apr 2002 to Apr 2003 – Purchaser and Project Manager, Rushmore
     PLC, light engineering, Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK. Carried out all
     purchasing arrangements and the total governance of a new
     endeavour resulting from the takeover of a rival firm, involving
     organisational, production and project management.

     Jan 1999 to Apr 2002 – IBM Mainframe Analyst, Royal & Sun
     Alliance, Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK. CoBOL and CICS mainframe
     programmer and analyst.

     Aug 1997 to Jan 1999 – Customer Service Advisor, Royal & Sun
