    European Shared Treasure
A database for the dissemination of good practice

             •Capitalise on the immense treasure of
              experiences to be found in the framework
              of decentralised actions of Socrates
              Programme, i.e. Comenius and Grundtvig
              partnerships

              "Education and Training 2010" objectives.

   Attempt to build on and go beyond GOLD
A five-year experience with the Italian national database
   provided precious and ample feedback from users

                     A shared database

EST is composed of national databases, located and
managed in participating country servers which form
part of a network.

A common metadata model and multilingual
retrieval tools, allow for simultaneous searches

Efficiency         many fields in EST are pre-filled through
                   imported data from Soclink

• The Search page is translated in national languages
• The use of a vehicular language in project’s and product’s
