Guide to RTI Contracts and Collaboration with EPA Working together to improve the environment for more than 35 years Together we have forged a long-term, collaborative relationship. RTI International has worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its predecessor organizations for more than 35 years and has projects supporting all EPA offices. We bring to this collaboration a multidisciplinary team of expert engineers and scientists to address real-world environmental problems through highquality research and technical services. Through our long history of providing technical and research support to EPA, we have gained a thorough understanding of the Agency’s technical and research programs, organizational structure, and contract operations. Our research framework is grounded in best management practices that ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-efficiency. We have extensive experience managing multiyear, multitask contracts that encompass laboratory-, pilot-, and field-scale research; development of methods, technologies, and tools; and technical support. How do RTI and EPA work together? RTI holds several contracts with EPA and is preapproved to work under several General Services Administration (GSA) schedules. This guide describes these contractual mechanisms and how to access them. How to use contract vehicles to work with RTI You can request a new task under any of our current contracts. To request a task, contact the appropriate EPA Project Officer listed on the following pages. The Project Officer for each contract can provide additional details about Statement of Work contents and how to develop a budget.
