Terry Goodall, CEO BIG4 Holiday Parks, will today (Monday 1 February) be fulfilling his bid after being ‘bought’ at auction
during BIG4’s National Charity Conference to work at ground level at Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort.

Winners of the bid, owners Geoff Olholm and Jenny Tonkin bid a whopping $15,000 for Terry’s services, to team up with
themselves and their staff, ditching the suit and tie for overalls, to work at the park doing day to day tasks such as
cleaning the pool, making reservations and trimming trees.

The purpose of the event is to further raise awareness and money for BIG4’s charity partner, The Humour Foundation. At
the conference BIG4 Holiday Parks raised a record $105,000 for The Humour Foundation which will help the
Foundation’s flagship program, The Clown DoctorsTM, deliver doses of laughter to thousands of Australian children
 receiving treatment in our hospitals.

Goodall is looking forward to meeting with owners and staff and experiencing the parks way of life from a different
perspective saying that it couldn’t be for a better cause.

“The money will go a long way in helping to bring smiles where they are needed most, and I hope my contribution to
Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort will help the cause even further - and even win some laughs,” he says. “

Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort has also just opened up a new water park which is proving very successful that Terry can
 enjoy while he is there.

“I’m most looking forward to testing out the giant jumping pillow, driving visitors in the infamous 'nemo' buggy to their
cabin and the water slides. I wish I could say the same about cleaning the toilets!,” he says.

Cairns Coconut and Beachlands Holiday Park won the bidding war using a combined $15,000 donation, with Terry’s time to be
shared across both parks for three days. BIG4 Harrington Beach Holiday Park donated a further $15,000 to secure Terry's
services for an additional three days.

The Humour Foundation has been the primary charity for the BIG4 Holiday Park network since October 2007.
