To install Nu-Pulse Technologies Inc. software on a database server requires the
following:
A licensed copy of Microsoft SQL Server 6.5, 7.0, or 2000
Installation and configuration of the Microsoft SQL Server
Applicable database server software subscription
A minimum of one Client Access License (CAL) subscription for each user on the
network.
A single CAL or blocks of 5 users with price breaks at quantities of 25 to 100 users can
be purchased. An Enterprise License with unlimited user access can also be purchased.
SQL Server Software Pricing with 2 year Microsoft Software upgrade protection:
P/N 545160 Server (Microsoft SQL 2000 database) $953.11 each
P/N 5454105 Client Licenses $197.85 each
P/N 960286 Client 2000 CD media $23.00
Nu-Pulse Technologies Inc. client/server software includes:
SQL Server Database (does not include Microsoft SQL Server Database Software
and License)
Nu-Pulse Technologies Inc. client software
Online help
Documentation library
Optional Annual contract for Maintenance includes:
o Unlimited database maintenance and all software updates and new feature
releases
o Unlimited technical support
If access to the database using the WEB and a browser is elected, Nu-Pulse Technologies
Inc. can host the database and maintain a company’s data. This Application Service
Provider (ASP) model allows a company to enjoy the freedom of not worrying about
database upgrades and maintaining data. Nu-Pulse Technologies Inc. uses the same
database for the client/server version and the WEB versions of its applications.
Therefore, if access to the WEB is not available users can elect to access a locally
installed database and upload that data to the ASP database server once the WEB
connection becomes available.

Mid-Year Purchases are pro-rated to the remaining portion of the License Year
For example:
Cost to upgrade in April 1 = Additional License Cost / 25% (month 3 / 12
months)
