It conducts its major portion of the business with the US Department of Defense and US federal government agencies. The company performs its operations through four business segments, namely, Electronic Systems, Information Systems & Global Services (IS&GS), Aeronautics and Space Systems. Through Electronic Systems segment, the company undertakes the management of complex programs; and engages in design, development, and integration of hardware and software solutions to ensure the mission readiness of armed forces and government agencies across the world. Major business lines under the Electronic Systems segment include Maritime Systems & Sensors (MS2), Missiles & Fire Control (M&FC), and Platform and Training (P&T).
