 Region VII Director

You are Invited!!

The members of the Grande Prairie Club and I extend a personal invitation to each of you to join us in
Grande Prairie, Alberta, May 21-23, 2009 for the 2009 Region VII Meeting.

The Grande Prairie members are busy planning both educational and fun activities to entice you and
encourage you to Dive into Learning. Plan to arrive on the Wednesday so that you are able to participate
in the fantastic field trip on Thursday.

Cruise up the Wapiti River by boat and then be guided to the vast dinosaur fossil resource that the
Pipestone Creek Bonebed has to offer. Pipestone is ranked with the world’s top dinosaur fossil sites.
You will even be given the opportunity to try your hand at digging for fossils.

Then be prepared for the Friday morning seminars on Running Your Office and Feng Shui. Later in the
day, you will have the opportunity to speak out about the issues currently facing our organization in Open
Forum. All of this will be followed by the Friday Night Social.

As usual, Saturday’s session will encompass the business of Region VII; including the Club reports and
Association Committee Reports, the Awards Luncheon and the evening Industry Banquet. The 2010
Region VII Director will be elected and you will hear what is being planned for the 2010 Region VII
meeting in Edmonton.

We hope you will all join us for an Educational and fun filled Region VII Meeting.

Grande Prairie is situated amidst rolling prairie
and aspen-poplar forest. The prairies to the
north, east and west contain good farmland.
The aspen-poplar forest to the south and west
becomes coniferous as the land rises to the
                                         foothills and mountains.
