                  Independent Consultant, National Vice President
Brook Robertson Nation; Ponoka, Alberta ERVP Billie Long and Brook.

Looking back 14 months ago, I was not at a very happy place in my life. My
marriage had failed and the life I had always dreamed about and worked so
hard for seemed to be falling apart. To drown out the pain, I consumed myself
with my work. I eventually took on more than I could handle. Even though I was
passionate about my work and truly loved what I was doing, I started to burn
out. I was self-employed, training barrel racing horses. I chose this profession
because it came naturally and I thought by being self-employed I would have
the freedom to also pursue my dreams of competing professionally. Well, that
was not the case. When you are a dedicated trainer, it is hard to do your job
at home and be away at rodeos. It is one or the other and I had accepted that
my dreams were never going to be a reality.

During this time, I was introduced to Arbonne by ENVP Sonya Shields. I knew
in my heart this could be my way out but like many people, I had fears. I just
did not know how I would be able to make it work. With work taking up 15
hours a day and 7 days a week, I did not know where I would be able to fit
Arbonne in. I loved the idea of Arbonne so much that I hosted Presentations for
my friends and encouraged other people to join the business, but I was afraid
                  to take the plunge myself.

About four months after attending my first Arbonne Presentation, I hit my break-
ing point. I had to do Arbonne, even if some sacrifices would have to be made.
To make time, I would have to send some horses home. This would also mean
I would have to suffer financially for a little while. Despite these sacrifices, I took
the leap and never looked back.

Once I started this business, I knew it was where I was meant to be. I had no
idea what I was doing, but my upline told me I could learn as I went along. I
knew my upline was going to the top and they would take me with them, so I
                  trusted them completely.
Brook’s brother, Chance Butterfield and DM Kenda Coulthard.
There were many dreamstealers along the way, but they never weakened my
resolve. My Why was so big, nothing was going to shake it and I never once
considered quitting this business. When I got discouraged, I remembered
Sonya saying the only way to fail was to quit. When times got tough, I thought
of my Why and then I worked that much harder. Determined to live my dreams
and have the potential to live financially free, I did not even notice when peo-
ple said no to me. I just continued to share the opportunity and products with
                  everyone I met.

Gradually, my business began to grow. As this happened, I began to realize
this journey was not just about me, but about helping change the lives of oth-
ers. Seeing the amazing changes in other people’s lives has given me the great-
est joy of all! When you turn your focus toward helping other individuals real-

Members of the British Columbia team with ERVP Holly Mosher and her Mercedes-Benz.
