Open to amateur girls under the age of 18 years on the day of play with an Australian handicap.

EVENT 2: SWD Junior Championship:                       18 Holes Gross
Open to amateur girls under the age of 18 years on the day of play, with an Australian Handicap and who
are members of a South Western District Affiliated Club.
             Perpetual Trophy to be held by the Winner’s Club until next Junior Championship.

EVENT 3: 18 Holes Nett: Played concurrently with Events 1 and 2.

                                SWDLGA Inc. CONDITIONS OF PLAY
                             OPEN & SWDLGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
 1.   Competitions shall be played in accordance with the rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and
      Ancient Club of St. Andrews, Scotland. Subject to such local rules as are in force on the
      course over which the competitions take place.

 2.   The SWDLGA Inc. Match Committee (Min. 3) shall have full control of the competition and
      shall have the right to alter the conditions or starting times and shall have the right to refuse
      entry to any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal.

 3.   The match committee will settle any dispute or protest. Such dispute or protest must be
      lodged not later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of play.

 4.   Eligibility:
      Open Junior Championship: Amateur girls under 18 years of age on the day of play with an
      Australian Handicap.

      SWDLGA Junior Championship: Amateur girls under 18 years of age on the day of play with
      an Australian Handicap and who are members of a SWDLGA Affiliated Club.

 5.   Kay Mahlook Shield Team: To be eligible to be considered for selection in the SWDLGA
      Kay Mahlook Shield Team, junior girls must play in at least two of four rounds of the Vicky
      Uwland Junior Bracelet 2010/11 and 2011 Junior Championship.

 6.   In the event of a tie in the 18 Holes Scratch Events, a play-off will be held over a number of
      holes at the discretion of the match committee. In all other events, ties shall be decided by
      the GA recommended count-back system.

 7.   Competitors are eligible for one trophy only except for events 1 & 2 where they may win both.

 8.   No substitutes permitted.

 9.   No refunds will be given after closing date of entries.

10.   Caddies: The use of professional or trainee professional golfers is not permitted.
      Penalty: Disqualification.

11.    Motorised transportation is prohibited. If a player has a permanent disability or is
      recovering from serious illness or injury and is unable to play without the use of a motorised
      vehicle; she must obtain a doctor’s certificate and the approval, prior to the day of play, of the
      SWDLGA Match Committee (if not previously obtained), as well as permission from the host
      club. Permission does not include a partner. SWDLGA deem any player granted a permanent
      cart certificate unfit to walk the course and in the interest of player health and safety, a player
      holding a permanent cart certificate should exclude themselves from play at a venue where
      carts or bikes are not permitted or are unavailable. A player who has approval from SWDLGA
      to use motorised transportation must do so in all SWDLGA Events and must notify the
      SWDLGA Match Committee in writing if transportation is not longer necessary. Penalty: Rules
      of Golf Appendix 1, Part C-9.

12.   Distance Measuring Devices: For all SWDLGA tournaments, a player may obtain distance
      information by using a device that measures distance only. If during a stipulated round, a
      player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other
      conditions that might affect her play (e.g. gradient, windspeed, temperature, etc), the player is
      in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any
      such additional function is actually used.

13.   Mobile Phones: The use of mobile phones (except in cases of emergency) is prohibited.

14.   Slow play will not be tolerated. Pace of play may be monitored and penalties imposed for
      infringements (Rule 6-7)

15.   Dress Regulations: Players, caddies and spectators are requested to abide by the dress
      regulations in force at each host club.
