INREV Investor Only Seminar


Dear Investor member,

We are pleased to invite you to the INREV Investor Only Seminar, which is taking place on
Wednesday 22 April in Athens, the day before the INREV Annual Conference.

In this increasingly challenging market, this seminar will provide an important opportunity to
share views and experiences on the issues facing investors and the impact of deteriorating
market conditions. The afternoon will be a mix of presentations, panel sessions and break-out
group discussions.

The opening address by Matthew Ryall, Global Head of Indirect Investments and Capital Markets
at Allianz, will set the scene for the afternoon by exploring the consequences of recent market
conditions for investors and how this is impacting the investor/fund manager relationship.

Panel discussions and break-out groups will then examine today’s key topics including:

EMERGING CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ISSUES
–  New lessons for investors: counter-party risks and capital calls
–  Is good governance differentiating existing funds?

LIQUIDITY PROVISIONS AND SECONDARY TRADING
–  What are investors’ main liquidity needs at this time?
–  How are investors approaching selling/buying opportunities?
–  Is there an interest in secondaries funds as an investment opportunity?

THE CASE FOR NON-LISTED REAL ESTATE: REDEFINING THE FUND MODEL
–  Where will leverage fit into investors strategies for new funds?
–  What added-value will investors look for from funds?
–  How will return expectations for the sector change?

The seminar is free of charge. Please note, however, that a ‘no-show’ rate does apply. If you
register but do not attend, you will be charged H500 to cover costs that INREV will incur.

If you have already registered for the INREV Annual Conference, and wish to attend the INREV
Investor Only seminar as well, you still need to register separately for this event.

The programme will start at 14.30 hrs giving participants plenty of time to arrive on the morning
of the seminar, however if you need accommodation the night before please book this directly
with the hotel.
