NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU - AMBOSELI Day 1 Nairobi Our staff will welcome you and transport you to the elegant Laico Regency Hotel. Bed & Breakfast Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve Depart for an interpretation of a traditional Masaai Manyatta village of domed huts, MARA SERENA LODGE is set on the saddle of a hill where it overlooks the rolling plains, woodlands and rivers that make up the Masai Mara Triangle – one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. It is on this very terrain stretching endlessly before the lodge where the annual migrations take place, where millions of Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch have a little nap. At around 1600hrs depart for a game drive. After a tiring game drive relax until next morning. Dinner and Overnight will be at the Lodge. FULL BOARD Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve After an early morning game drive, have breakfast. Morning will be at leisure. No other lodge has such a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape or the game and birdlife that inhabits it. Therefore you have an option of bird watching or an afternoon having a game drive across the plains and the Mara Triangle. Page 1 of 4 As you are relaxed after freshening up yourselves, your evening will be unbelievable, as the Maasai dancers, wildlife films and talks given by resident naturalist will entertain you. Dinner and Overnight will be at the lodge. FULL BOARD Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast depart for the Nakuru National Park, which is situated in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s most famous soda lakes. A major feature of this park is the birdlife, particularly the thousands of Flamingos, which create a shimmering pink hue over the lake. A Rhino sanctuary also provides the opportunity to see the greatly endangered Black Rhino. The SAROVA LION HILL LODGE offers a unique vantagepoint. Each of the 64 superbly appointed chalets with private secluded verandah enjoy views over the lake and the distant hills. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. Afternoon will be at leisure, swimming or even game drive. In the evening enjoy a great drink with a large view deck, overlooking Lake Nakuru and the distant hills. FULL BOARD Day 5 Amboseli National Park Depart for the Amboseli National Park on route to Nairobi you will be treated to lunch at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant – “AFRICA’S GREATEST EATING EXPERIENCE”. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has strikingly different food, with every type of meat imaginable, including four choices of wild game - Drinks not included. OL TUKAI LODGE – the essence of the park is Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak which dominates everything in sight. The main attractions of the National Park are the large elephant populations and the prolific birdlife. There are few trees in Amboseli and part of its attraction is the ease and certainty of game viewing, unobstructed by bush and scrub. After lunch you will be assisted to your rooms, which are made and decorated like a cottage. From your room stretches a panorama of landscape, sky and wildlife with massive majesty of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the background. In the evening after a lazy afternoon have Dinner and enjoy moonlight at the terrace outside your room. Overnight will be at the lodge. FULL BOARD Page 2 of 4 Day 6 Amboseli National Park Depart for an early morning game drive after which you will have breakfast. Morning at leisure. Later in the afternoon depart for a game drive to see Wildebeest, Zebra, or best of all a herd of giraffe shimmering against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, you are watching one of the sights of Africa. Later in the evening enjoy a delicious dinner, don’t rush things, make time to sit and watch and listen, take deep breath and relax. Ol Tukai has plenty to offer. Overnight will be at the lodge. FULL BOARD Day 7 Return back to Nairobi.
