PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWS
From the desk of the Headmaster…
This will be the last newsletter of what has been a very busy year. Where has the time gone?
At this stage I would like to say thank you to our hard working teachers who have given the school so much this year.
Teaching certainly is a stressful and demanding profession and this year the team has come up trumps once again.
Then to the admin and support staff, I would like to express my appreciation.
To the Board, Parents’ Council, Past Pupils’ Association and all the other groups I would also like to say a big thank you!
My last thank you is reserved for the parents and pupils who have played such a major role in the success of the school this
year. It is said that a good school has good parents, we have the best! The same can be said of our wonderful children!
Have a great holiday.
NIGEL SLOANE ☺
ALWAYS KEEP CHRIST AS PART OF CHRISTMAS
SENIOR PRIMARY MATTERS
Have You Heard?
It’d hard to believe that this will be the last newsletter for 2007. From the staff and management of the Senior Primary, I
would like to thank you for your support during the year. We wish you and your families a blessed Christmas season and we
look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
Please note the following arrangements for the end of the year:
School will close at 13h00 on Monday and 14h00 on Tuesday.
Speech night arrangements are as follows:
- Children to wear summer uniform, no tracksuits!
- Children to meet in their form classes at 17h00
- Speech night starts at 18h00
- Tea will be served to parents afterwards
- Parents to collect children and reports from your child’s form classes
- All proceedings should end at around 19h30
Please come and join us.
Just a reminder that it is “silly season” and if you as a parent get coerced into colouring your child’s hair, it has to be redone
so that when school starts on 15 January it is back to its natural colour. Thank you
