Company to Hold Quarterly Calls on Same Day as Press Release in Order to Provide More Timely Information on
Results

date and time for the Company’s conference call to discuss its 2010 fourth quarter and year-end results. The call will
now be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. (EST). A live webcast will be available at
http://investors.urscorp.com. In addition, a link to the Company’s 2010 fourth quarter and year-end earnings press
release will be available at the same web address following the market close on Monday, February 28.

Beginning with its 2010 fourth quarter and year-end results announcement, URS will hold its quarterly
analyst/investor conference calls at 5:00 p.m. ET on the day that its earnings press release is issued, rather than in the
morning of the following day, which had been the Company’s former practice. This change is being made to provide
more timely information regarding the Company’s results.
