1. FROM THE HEADMASTER’S OFFICE

Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote – Andrew Lack (Ex CEO of Sony and NBC)

Election Day has come and gone and I assume you all used your democratic right to vote. On the College front things
will get back to normal from Monday and I want to emphasise the fact that there is only one month left before the
exams. I want to thank you for your presence at our parents’ evening on Tuesday and encourage you to contact the
necessary subject teachers or subject managers if you missed out on this opportunity and/or still have any queries
regarding the first term’s report or the upcoming exams.

Due to the congestion in front of my office we restructured our reception area. Mariana Laubscher will still be your first
port of call. The High School reception (Mariana) has relocated to the general reception (opposite the Primary School’s
reception). All parents visiting the College, Dr Kriek or any staff member need to report to her first. Thank you for your
cooperation in streamlining our front desk.
