the side in the recovery position and ensure breathing can take place. Do not give victim anything to drink if they are
unconscious. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
INHALATION
General first aid, rest, warmth and fresh air. Place unconscious person on the side in the recovery position and ensure
breathing If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR
DRINK FLUIDS! Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
INGESTION
Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
SKIN CONTACT
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Contact physician if irritation continues.

    5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Fire can be extinguished using: Water spray, fog or mist. Alcohol resistant foam. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Do not use
water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
Avoid breathing fire vapours. NOTE! Use air-supplied respirators to protect against gases\fumes. Cool containers
exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out. Move container from fire area if it can be done without risk.
Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control.

    6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.
SPILL CLEAN UP METHODS
Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate. When dealing with a spillage, please
consult the section relating to suitable protective measures. Wear necessary protective equipment. Provide ventilation
and confine spill. Do not allow runoff to sewer. Collect spillage in containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal
according to local regulations. Wash thoroughly after dealing with a spillage. Inform Authorities if large amounts are
involved.

    7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
USAGE PRECAUTIONS
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking
when using the product. Wear suitable protective clothing and suitable gloves Do not breathe spray. Otherwise wear
respiratory protective equipment and eye protection (see HSE Guidance booklet HS (G) 53: "The Selection, Use and
Maintenance of Respiratory Protective Equipment - A Practical Guide". This material and its container must be disposed of
in a safe way. Do not empty into drains. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep away from treated surfaces until dry. Do not
contaminate ground, waterbodies or watercourses with chemical or used container. Cover water storage tanks before
application. Remove and cover all fish tanks and bowls before application. Wash any contamination from skin and eyes
immediately Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. Ventilate treated areas thoroughly after
application. For oudoor use only. Avoid all contact with plant life To avoid risks to man and the environment, comply with
instructions for use. Until dry, treated areas can pose a fire risk.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Observe the label precautions. Keep in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, away from sources of heat, ignition and direct
sunlight. No smoking. Keep only in original container. Keep in a safe place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of
reach of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.

ENGINEERING MEASURES
Provide adequate ventilation. Observe Workplace Exposure Limits and minimise the risk of inhalation of vapours. Must not
be handled in confined space without sufficient ventilation.
RESPIRATORY EQUIPMENT
If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided.
HAND PROTECTION
Protective gloves should be used if there is a risk of direct contact or splash. Barrier cream applied before work may make
it easier to clean the skin after exposure, but does not prevent absorption through the skin.
Report Date : 07/11/2008 3 / 5

EYE PROTECTION
Wear approved chemical safety goggles where eye exposure is reasonably probable.
OTHER PROTECTION
Wear appropriate clothing to prevent reasonably probable skin contact.
Cotton or cotton/synthetic overalls or coveralls are normally suitable. Grossly contaminated clothing should be removed
and the skin washed with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleaner.
All personal protective equipment, including respiratory protective equipment, used to control exposure to hazardous
substances must be selected to meet the requirements of the COSHH Regulations.
HYGIENE MEASURES
Wash any contamination from skin or eyes immediately. Wash hands and exposed slin before meals and after use. Use
appropriate hand lotion to prevent defatting and cracking of skin.
