Job Description
                                        Project Support Administrator
The Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) were established by the Government of Ontario as community-based
organizations to plan, co-ordinate, integrate and fund health care services at the local level to ensure a well
coordinated system of health services.
 The LHINs established a common service group, the LHIN Shared Services Office (LSSO). The LSSO is responsible
for the provision of common services and programs to all fourteen (14) LHINs through a shared services model and a
team of senior subject matter experts in the areas of finance, accounting, payroll, information technology, human
resources, procurement and other shared, outsourced and/or commonly contracted services.
The LHINs are in the processes of implementing corporate systems such as SharePoint and CRM across 14 LHIN
offices and require the assistance of a The Project Support Administrator to assist in the implementation, deployment
and support of the application.

Job Summary :
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology and Project Management Office, this position has been created to
assist the LHIN Shared Services Office with implementing projects. The Project Support Administrator is responsible
for day to day support of projects, including being a key communicator for the LHIN Shared Services PMO project
initiatives and management of the LSSO SharePoint communication to the LHINs and other stakeholders. The ideal
candidate is a delivery focused individual that has expertise with the project methodologies and a strong


The Project Support Administrator will:
•   Work with team members by tracking, updating and reporting on project control logs including highlighting risk,
    issues and action item
•   Update components of management and resource allocation reports with guidance/support from senior team
    members. Update project repository ensuring version control.
•   Support senior team members by scheduling and planning meetings, documenting minutes and distributing
    project material and following up on action items as required.
•   Maintain project organization chart and distribution lists to assist in clear, consistent communication within a
    matrix environment to support team alignment
•   Day to day management of SharePoint communication updates and sourcing and dissemination of information
    on projects initiatives to the LHINs stakeholders
•   Assist with project documentation such as status reports, project charter, business case, and project plan and
    statement of work
•   Will provide a reasonable level of business analysis support as required
•   Lead the document management strategy for the LHINs
•   Coordinate meetings and support the Operations Committee meeting requirements
•   May be required to provide support of the LHINs procurement for hardware and software
•   Other responsibilities include assisting with bank deposit on a weekly basis, business plan administration, report
    preparation, briefing notes and power point presentations as required.

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION: (Include Certifications)

A University Degree in computer science or business related discipline or equivalent

•   IT Project Control and Reporting--Knowledge of and experience with monitoring the vital signs of an IT project,
    and managing its progress and delivery schedule.
