The Department

Henderson Equity Partners is the private equity operation of Henderson Global Investors. It was formally
established in 1998 and is focused on three distinct principal investment opportunities: infrastructure, Asia
private equity (growth equity), and fund of funds. As at 31 December 2009, Henderson Equity Partners
manages approximately £800 million on behalf of institutional clients.


Overview of the Role

To provide high quality support to Henderson Equity Partners’ investors and to support relevant Henderson
Equity Partners’ future fundraising activities

Key Responsibilities:

•     Coordinate quarterly reporting for all Henderson Equity Partners’ funds, liaising with the Investor
      Relations Manager, Director of Finance & Operations, the investment & finance teams
•     Responsibility for the investor database supporting client service and new business development (e.g.
      CRM)
•     Maintain online reporting database for both fund documents and investor access
•     Prepare and update presentation and marketing materials for client pitches and investor meetings
•     Prepare briefings for client pitches and investor meetings
•     Update marketing materials and websites
•     Maintain records for all existing investors and manage appropriate client take-on processes and records
      for all new investors. This includes annual updates of investor records according to legal and
      compliance requirements
•     Respond to ad-hoc industry association, directory providers, investment consultant and general
      intermediary requests and other external or internal new business-related requests for information (e.g.
      RFP/RFI)
•     Assist with investor events such as Annual General Meetings and webinars
•     Undertake project work – for example on new products or new target investors
Technical Skills and Qualifications Required

•     Educated to degree level or equivalent
•     Previous experience of working in financial services is essential
•     Private Equity experience would be an advantage
•     Industry qualifications – e.g. IMC would be an advantage
•     PC skills – PowerPoint, Word, database management and Excel
