Enclosed you will find your Second Semester:
Confirmation of Enrolment/Academic Summary, and
Tax Invoice/Fees Summary
Please note: This invoice reflects recent changes to enrolment or transactions on your account
and therefore supercedes any previous Second Semester invoice you may have received.
Due date
Please ignore the due date stated on the invoice. Payment for the enclosed must be received Wednesday
11 September.
Confirmation of Enrolment/Academic Summary
Please carefully check the details of your enrolment listed in the Academic Summary to ensure it is correct. If
you detect any errors or discrepancies please call 1800 155 945 or call your Faculty Student Administration
Office. However, please note that if you have recently submitted variations to your enrolment, they may not
yet be included in the attached information.
Tax Invoice/Fees Summary
Full-fee students
If you are a full-fee paying student, payment for the enclosed Tax Invoice must be received by Wednesday
11 September.
PELS students
Postgraduate Education Loans Scheme (PELS) students will see their course tuition fees offset by PELS
amounts on their tax invoice. All outstanding balances, i.e. charges for other than tuition fees, must be paid
by 13 September. PELS applicants who have not provided their Tax File Number by 30 August will not be
eligible for a PELS loan.
Refund of fees
Refunds will only be granted for withdrawals from Second Semester programs/courses if they are made on
or before 30 August 2002. Please see your student administration office for more information.
Deadlines for Semester 2
30 August 2002 Last day to avoid financial liability for:
Withdrawal from second semester courses
Leave of absence
Cancellation of enrolment
Last day to:
Add a course to your Second Semester load
Apply for exemption from Second Semester
courses
Provide your Tax File Number (PELS applicants)
13 September 2002 Last day to avoid academic penalty for:
Cancellation of enrolment
Withdrawal from Second Semester courses
Leave of absence
Requests for the above must be submitted in writing (preferably on the official form found at:
http://www.rmit.edu.au/students/forms) to your Faculty Student Administration Office.
