The Citadel Career Center Resource Library is full of valuable resources that are available to you!

There is something for everyone in the Resource Library. Just to give you a sampling of some of the materials available to you:

medicine and more.

Also available at The Career Center is an Information Bin located in room 203 that is filled with handouts/brochures from
employers, school districts, graduate schools, and other career related resources. And many of the materials here at The
Career Center may be available for taking with you! So come by and check out what’s inside The Career Center Resource
Library!

~Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) offers the Corris Boyd Scholarship which
provides a full-tuition to two deserving minority students entering master’s degree healthcare management programs that are
full members of AUPHA. The scholarship award for each student will include full tuition to the UPHA member accredited
institution of the student’s choice (assuming acceptance by program) along with a $13,000 per year grant to provide the student
with an assistantship and a stipend loan to cover other expenses. The student will also be guaranteed a residency placement
with Triad Hospitals, Inc. upon graduation from the degree program.

~Colorado College offers a program where students can earn a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree and teacher
licensure. Application deadline is February 1, 2007. For more information, visit their website at

~Information and applications for Elon University School of Law are available in the Information Bin, room 203.

~Nantahala Outdoor Center, an outdoor recreation provider in the southeast, is announcing opportunities for seasonal
positions and Guide School offerings. There are several Guide Course Dates available where students will receive instruction
in such areas as whitewater rating instruction, paddle techniques, risk management, river rescue, etc. Preferential
consideration is given to Guide School graduates for summer employment at Nantahala Outdoor Center. For more information

~Spoleto Festival USA is offering an Apprentice Program that provides hands-on experience under the guidance of
professional arts administrators and technicians in producing an international arts festival. Apprentices work 40-50 hours per
week, often including nights and weekends. A weekly stipend, housing and travel allowance are provided. Application
deadline is February 9, 2007. To apply, visit www.spoletousa.org

~Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering/Science Program (SURE) is a ten-week summer research program
designed to attack qualified minority students into graduate school in the fields of engineering and science. Students are paired
with a faculty and graduate student mentor to undertake research projects. Students are also housed on campus, given a $600
travel allowance, a meal plan and a $5,000 stipend. Deadline for application is March 1st. For more info visit:

~Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine is offering college students a one week session in June that
will provide a realistic look at what attending veterinary school is like. There will be lectures from the clinical faculty, hands-on
activities with animals, labs, and clinical rotations shadowing 4th year students in the hospitals. Visit www.tufts.edu/vet/avm for
