 Why? Sell more Gates V-belts by converting competitive business.
What? Cut off under performing belts with a Gates Bucks initiative.
When? Initial customer orders placed between May 15th and November 15th, 2010.
      All Gates Bucks must be redeemed by December 31, 2010.

 How?
 Step 1:
    •	 Identify conversion accounts
    •	 Visit customers (with Gates or on your own) and
         introduce EPDM technology
    •	 Review this simple promotion: Convert competitive
         V-belt drives to Gates EPDM molded notch V-belts
         and award the invoice amount (up to $250) back in
         Gates Bucks for your customer to use on their next
         purchase of Gates belts
 Step 2:
    •	 Take the order for Gates Super HC® molded notch,
         Tri-Power® or Metric Power™ V-belts
    •	 Complete the form on the back of the Gates Bucks
         and give to the customer when the new belt drive is
         installed
 Step 3:
    •	 The customer orders more Gates belts and redeems
         Gates Bucks
    •	 You reduce the invoice amount by the value of the
         Gates Bucks
    •	 Attach the Gates Bucks to the most recent invoice
         and:

Moving to EPDM construction for our molded notch V-belts is a
running	change	meaning	that	stock	might	not	be	flushed	out	of	
the previous construction of belts. You’ll know the belt is EPDM
construction when you see the patent numbers on the Gates
belt label.
