Warm up Exercises ~ Set One
Part 1 1. Start with a light jog around the workout area. (2 min.) 2. Reverse direction and jog with 'high knees' (2 min) 3. Reverse direction and jog with 'kick backs' (2 min) 4. Reverse direction and make large circles with RT shoulder (1 min) 5. Reverse direction and make large circles with LT shoulder (1 min) 6. Reverse direction and form 'butterfly hands' & knee smashes, alternating legs (2 min) 7. Reverse direction and double front kicks, 1st one snappy, 2nd one thrust (2 min) 8. Walk it out, water break (2 min) 9. Light jog, on command “go”; both hands touch floor and change direction (3 min) 10. Facing outside, slide shuffle clockwise & right hook punch (2 min) 11. Facing inside, slide shuffle clockwise & left hook punch (2 min) Part 2 (with sparring gloves) 1. With partner, face each other at opposite ends of workout area 2. Partner A in 'pushup' position; partner B in defensive stance with guard up 3. On command partner A stands and sprints to Partner B; punches 6 times into partner B's gloves 4. Partner A drops to floor into 'iron cross' position for 30 seconds 5. Partner A stands and walks back to starting position and returns to 'pushup' position 6. Repeat twice 7. Repeat twice with 8 punches 8. Last time with 10 punches, returns to starting position 9. Switch roles for partner A & B 10. Water break
