Q: Your product look very interesting, however all our hardware runs

environment is not supported, but if we did port redirecting from the
firewall to the machine running your web servers why wouldn't it work??
How would your servers know the difference?
A: Yes, of course. If you can make a port redirecting from the
firewall/router , you will run it well.

Q: I originally was going to use my home computer and cable hook up for
my picture server. But my piece of crap Cable Company has some software
that when it detects a server running over its network, it somehow
restricts access to it. What would happen is that it would work
occasionally, but more often then not you couldn¡¯t see it remotely. I
kept thinking I had it set up wrong or my firewall was the problem. I
removed almost every piece of software I had installed at home before
finally contacting the Cable Company and being told, yea we don¡¯t allow
servers running on residential networks.
A: Maybe you may change the default TCP port to 8080 or 800 or 9999 or
others.

Q:Behind a router/gateway/Firewall?

A:If you are using an Intranet IP address, you may create a Ports
Forwording / Firewall Rules for File sharing for net.

Example A: We have a router (24.12.12.12) to share internet connection
for local computer, and my computer have an Intranet IP address
192.168.1.1 . I have not any other web server running in Intranet (local
network).

Step 1: Open router/firwall manager interface and enter Virtual Server
(or Firewall Rules or Ports Forwording or Advanced or Firewall) options.
Step 2: Make TCP Port 80 through to 192.168.1.1 in your router/firwall
(24.12.12.12).
Step 3: Make TCP enable for this setting.
Step 4: Finished, the Intranet(local network) user may access your File
Sharing for net with http://192.168.1.1 or http://24.12.12.12; the
Internet(public network) user may access your file sharing for net with
http://24.12.12.12.

Example B: We have a router (24.12.12.12) to share internet connection
for local computer, and my computer have an Intranet IP address
192.168.1.1 . I have some web server running in Intranet (local network)
already.

Step 1: Change File sharing for net TCP port to 8080.
Step 2: Open router/firwall manager interface and enter Virtual Server
(or Firewall Rules or Ports Forwording or Advanced or Firewall) options.
Step 3: Make TCP Port 8080 through to 192.168.1.1:8080 in your
router/firwall (24.12.12.12).
Step 4: Make TCP enable for this setting.
Step 5: Finished, the Intranet(local network) user may access your file
sharing for net with http://192.168.1.1:8080 or http://24.12.12.12:8080;
the Internet(public network) user may access your file sharing for net
with http://24.12.12.12:8080.

Q:Are you using an Intranet IP address ?

A:If you using a IP address like this : 192.168.x.x, I think you are
using an Intranet IP address. Intranet IP address is not a public IP
address, All user from pubilc Internet can not access your File sharing
for net.
