REQUIRES
COMPOUNDER-CUM-DRESSER/MALE NURSE (CLERICAL
GRADE) – ON CONTRACT BASIS
-- 1. No. of posts: 4 (four). Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Govt.
Directives.
-- 2. Educational Qualification : S.F./H.S.
-- 3. Professional Qualification : Diploma/Certificate on Pharmacy (duly
Registered as per Pharmacy act; 1948 issued by the W.B. Pharmacy
Council)/Class one Nursing Assistant course in Army or equivalent in
Navy/Air Force.
-- 4. Age limit : Age limit as on 01.03.2006 not exceeding 45 years.
-- 5. Period of contract : 3 (three) years.
-- 6. Selection : The selection will be made on the basis of written
test/interview
-- 7. Pay : Rs.5800/- per month (consolidated). CPF deduction @ 12% of
pay and ESI contribution at the statutory rate will be recovered from
the pay.
-- 8. Increment : They will be granted annual increment of Rs.80/-
(consolidated) per year of service.
-- 9. Experience : At least 5 years experience as a
Pharmacist//Compounder-Cum-Dresser/Nursing Assistant Class one
in Army or equivalent in Navy or Air-Force.
10. Concession/Relaxation : Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & PH will be
applicable as per Govt. directives.
11. General information : (a) 10 days medical leave and 10 days casual
leave will be admissible per year commencing from the date of joining.
15 days annual leave on completion of first year of service. (b) No
transport facility for “to and fro” journey between residence and place
of work will be provided. (c) First-Aid at the Yard Medical Dispensary
for self will be admissible. (d) Hurt on duty cases will be dealt as per
ESI Act, 1948 (e) Duty hours will be according to the normal factory
working hours including shift duties. It may be required to stay back
beyond duty hours if necessary and also to perform duty on-board ship
during sea trial. (f) If deputed on outstation ty. duty on sea trials of
ships, they will be paid TA/DA as per the rules applicable to clerical
grade. (g) Overtime pay/Sunday/Holiday duties and compensatory off
may be given as per the existing rules of the Company. (h) The
engagement may be terminated by either party at any time without any
notice and assigning any reason thereof. (i) Engagement of selected
candidates is subject to being declared medically fit as per the
requirement of the Company’s rules. (j) The contract appointee would
have no right to get permanently absorbed in the Company. This is the
essential condition of this engagement (k) Canvassing in any form will
be a disqualification. (l) While applying for the posts the applicants
must ensure that the particulars furnished by him/her is correct in all
respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment or even
after engagement on contract basis that he or she has furnished
incorrect/false information or suppressed any material facts, his/her
candidature will stand cancelled and liable to be terminated forthwith.
(m) The decision of the Management in all matters regarding the
eligibility, test, interview, selection would be final and binding on all the
candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained
by GRSE Ltd. in this regard. (n) Mere fulfillment of eligibility
conditions will not entitle a candidate to be called for written
test/interview. (o) Wards of the deceased GRSE employees fulfilling all
qualitative requirements may also apply.
12. How to apply: Typed application is to reach General Manager
(Human Resource & Administration), Garden Reach Shipbuilders &
Engineers Ltd., 43/46, Garden Reach Road, Kolkata – 700 024 within
15 days of publication in the “Employment News” and GRSE Website
in the following format:
(a) Name (b) Father’s name (c) Date of birth (d) Present &
Permanent address (e) Academic & professional qualification
beginning with matriculation/equivalent along with year of
passing, percentage of marks, division/class obtained, subjects
taken indicating Board/University (including attested copies of
certificates) (f) Details of experience including names of
organization, position/designation held/nature of duties with
duration along with basic pay/ allowance drawn mentioning pay
scale (previous & present), enclosing last pay drawn certificate.
(g) Whether SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-serviceman/PH enclosing attested
copies of certificate. (h) Application is to be submitted in
envelope superscribing the post applied for. (i) SC/ST candidates
will be reimbursed to & fro bus/2nd class train fare by shortest
route on production of ticket as per Government Rules. (j)
Incomplete or late received applications will be summarily
rejected without any communication.
